SU Distinguished Fellow receives Carnegie Medal for helping save a friend during a cougar attack.
You may have heard the story of on a cycling trail near Fall City this past February. But you may not have heard that one of the women, Erica Wolf, is a Distinguished Fellow in Law for 新澳门六合彩开奖结果’s Center for Indian Law and Policy.
Recently Wolf and the other women were awarded the Carnegie Medal at 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 City Hall for their bravery. The medal is awarded to “civilians who risk death or serious physical injury to an extraordinary degree saving or attempting to save the lives of others.”
The four women battled the cougar for 15 minutes, then pinned down the animal using Wolf’s bike until authorities could arrive.
