The 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 community is remembering William “Bill” Eisiminger, ’67, ’73, a philanthropic champion of Catholic education, October 19, 2024.
Eisiminger’s support of Catholic education came from firsthand experience as a student and teacher. After graduating from 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 with a BA in Education in 1967, he spent several years teaching at Holy Rosary School in West 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 and returned to SU to earn his Master’s in Education in Administration and Supervision. He then served eight years as principal of Holy Family Parish School before transitioning to real estate investment as president and owner of Barcelona Enterprises Inc.
At 新澳门六合彩开奖结果, he served on the College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Council, the Athletics campaign task force and the Board of Regents. In 2002, Eisiminger was honored with the 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 Service Award for his commitment to the school’s mission.
Eisiminger loved Redhawk basketball and was a fixture in his courtside seat at games. Students are sure to recognize Eisiminger’s name, as he provided the naming gift for the William F. Eisiminger Fitness Center. He also partnered with Elgin Baylor to establish the Elgin and Elaine Baylor and Bill Eisiminger Men's Basketball Endowed Scholarship to support student athletes.

A passionate musician, Eisiminger was also a continuous supporter of 新澳门六合彩开奖结果’s Choral Music Program and Fine Arts department, including funding a new practice room piano and attending countless concerts and performances.
Eisiminger supported several Catholic schools throughout 新澳门六合彩开奖结果, including O’Dea High School, Holy Names Academy and Kennedy Catholic High School through endowments, volunteering and other philanthropic endeavors. Eisiminger’s legacy will continue to impact students and educators in 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 for generations to come.
William Eisiminger’s memorial service is Saturday, November 9, at the Chapel of St. Ignatius, with a wake at 9 a.m., followed by the service at 10 a.m.
