新澳门六合彩开奖结果 has marked the Feast of St. Ignatius—named for the founder of the Society of Jesus who died on July 31, 1556—but this year, the university is ramping up the celebration and inviting the wider community to the party.
On Wednesday, July 31, SU will host the inaugural Ignatian Feast Fest, an afternoon and evening full of fun activities, food and entertainment in honor of the founder of the Jesuits.
The event will include:
- Faculty and Staff Celebration on the Union Green from 3-4:30 p.m.: Come enjoy food trucks, ice cream and carnival and lawn games.
- Mass at the Chapel of St. Ignatius at 4:30 p.m.: Bob Grimm, S.J., will celebrate and all are welcome.
- Community Carnival on the Union Green from 5:30-8 p.m.: The university welcomes alumni, partners and friends from Jesuit organizations, parishes and schools in the region to celebrate St. Ignatius and our shared mission. In a true carnival fashion, there will be games, an inflatable slide, bounce house, axe-throwing, balloon artists, face painting and crafts, along with food and a beer garden.
This should be a fun-filled day recognizing our founder so feel free to invite family and friends to join in on this special day!
