Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance & Employability Lead

Mr Safeer Ahmed is Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance, Employability Lead at School of Accounting, Finance and Law of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û.

Prior to joining аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û, Safeer worked at a small accountancy practice as accounts manager, AAT/ACCA lecturer and Assessor at various Further Education public and private colleges and as Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û of Hertfordshire.

Safeer is a Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and is passionate about teaching, learning and assessment in higher education. Safeer is specialised in core areas of Accounting; UK taxation, IASs/IFRSs, Computerised Accounting and External Auditing.

Safeer holds two unpaid/community roles: Trustee at The Cultural Trust Luton and ACCA Early Career Ambassador at ACCA UK.
