Biography
Roxanne has been teaching English for over twenty years. She earned her BA from Columbia University in New York City, where she fell in love with coffee, art, and museums. She then moved to Morocco where she studied Arabic and began her career teaching English. She later completed an MA degree in TESOL and a Ph.D. in Sociocultural Anthropology, both at the University of Washington in 新澳门六合彩开奖结果, where she taught courses in Arabic, Anthropology and English. She has conducted numerous ethnographic research projects about writing, social practices, and architectural space locally and internationally over the last ten years. Roxanne strives to create a safe and positive atmosphere in her classroom and works hard to help students be empowered, curious and successful.
