Making their way from Arizona, Miko came to the Pacific Northwest for college and earned their B.S. in Chemistry from 新澳门六合彩开奖结果 in the spring of 2020. Eventually, they made their way into the biotech industry and worked their way up from a glasswasher to a research associate II in protein purification. While working in the industry, they were enrolled in University of Washington’s Applied Chemical Science and Technology program. In lieu of joining an academic research group, they were granted an independent study to develop a small-scale protein purification method for nanobodies in their industry job. They graduated with their M.S. in Chemistry in 2022. Miko joined their alma mater as a lab manager in winter of 2024.
