Dr. Avery Snelson earned his PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside in 2020. His research focuses primarily on the nature of responsible agency from the perspective of Friedrich Nietzsche’s moral psychology. He is also interested in environmental ethics and animal ethics and enjoys persuading his students to think critically about anthropocentrism.
