Alexandra Romanyshyn

Assistant Professor

Biography

My interests lie at the intersection of philosophy and psychology. I concentrate on topics surrounding abnormal psychology and the self. I am currently working on a book project, Relational Narratives and Inclusive Selves: A Feminist and Disability-Informed Theory.

I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at 新澳门六合彩开奖结果. Previously, I spent a year as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant working with Anne Jeffrey at Baylor University. I completed my dissertation, "Schizophrenia and the Self: Integration, Fragmentation, and Being More Ourselves," at Saint Louis University under the supervision of Eleonore Stump. I also hold an M.A. in Philosophy from KU Leuven.

When I am not doing philosophy, I like to practice classical ballet, explore diverse vegan cuisines, and spend time with my husband and our two cats.
